Reviews and Ratings
Our experience at the Farmer's House was truly delightful. The modern rooms provided a bright and happy atmosphere for our nephew's engagement dinner reception party. The service, especially with Nicole from guest services, was extremely friendly and obliging, making our stay even more memorable. The location in the beautiful surroundings was undeniably stunning and ideal for a peaceful retreat. However, the dining options, although locally caught fish was delicious, could have been more varied. Overall, a great choice for a special occasion.
The hotel is spread across large grounds with various buildings offering diverse experiences. I attended a dinner reception party at Harry's, enjoyed a late dinner, and indulged in a delightful Sunday Brunch. The rooms were comfortable and elegant, but some may find the price a bit steep for what's offered.
While the rooms across the large grounds were unavailable for a dinner reception party, I was given a Queen room that I was told was just as nice. The service was mixed, with some staff seeming young and untrained, but others like Nicole from guest services were wonderful - friendly and helpful. The location, with the expansive walking gardens and stunning stone patios, was truly beautiful, making up for the fairly remote area. The dining experience in the Airlie Room for the $15 buffet breakfast was outstanding.
The hotel location offers stunning surroundings and beautiful grounds to explore, but it can be quite isolated from civilization. The rooms, although on the small side with poor views, are adequate for a stay. The breakfast is a bit pricey for a limited buffet selection, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The lodge provides a comfortable setting for special events like a high school graduation.
The hotel has stunning grounds with beautiful walking gardens and stone patios. The rooms are small with a poor view of the lake, but they are clean and comfortable. The service was extremely friendly and obliging, making up for any shortcomings. Dining options were limited, with a $15 buffet available. The location offers wonderful opportunities for hiking, biking, and jogging, ideal for a retreat or graduation trip.
